Official Tattoos 1

I fixed the design for my ankle tattoo and made a design for my wrist one

1: The Slovakian coat of arms with two guardians of Persepolis on either side, and a banner at the bottom saying “Khoshaa faryaad zeere aab” which translates to “May as well scream under water”. These represent my heritage, the phrase being one from my dad’s favorite Persian poem, and my mom has the same tattoo minus the guardians.

2: The butterfly representing rebirth and new life, 11-11-11 is the day I made the ultimate wish to be happy. The day before, November 10th, was the day I finally went to get help for my cutting, depression, suicidal thoughts and anxiety. The butterfly also represents the Butterfly Project, which helped me get past my cutting problem, and the white ‘scars’ it is sitting on represents my not being ashamed of my past. (The fact that you can’t cut before the butterfly fades away, and the fact that I’m getting one tattooed on me, ensures I will never cut again.)

See now that I am in love with both these designs I can’t choose which one I want first, for my 18th birthday present o.o
